Maintaining Clean Office Electronics
Offices have electronics that are regularly used and exposed to dust. The most common are computers, copiers, and telephones, among others. If these things are not cleaned and maintained, then expect that they will lose their shine and functionality. So, what you need to do is to keep an eye for dust-prone places.
First and foremost, computers are the first equipment that you have to clean regularly. For instance, the dust that creeps into the keyboard can be removed using an air spray, brush, or a vacuum cleaner. If possible, secure vacuums with attachments that can clean monitors too. Otherwise, use anti-static cleaner or soft cloth to clean the screens and other devices like fax machines. Also use an alcohol-based cleaner to clean the telephone’s mouth or ear pieces. However, make sure to use the cleaners lightly so that you cannot cause any damage to your office equipment. When it comes to heavier machines, use a soft cloth or an all-purpose cleaner in small quantities to clean copiers, scanners, and CPUs.
